‘thoughts, words & dreams’ exhibition raises over £1000 for @AlabareUK and a community art fund. The exhibition at the Vanner Gallery combined photography from the “This is my Hope” Alabaré competition with paintings and extracts from “This Too Will Pass” by Tim Scrace. Forming a unique retrospective on lockdown, the mindful nature of the exhibition offered a new hope.
To enable the best start to the venture the team are keen to encourage the purchase of the Limited Edition books and prints which are still available. Hardback copies of the book “thoughts, words and dreams” can be bought online BUY THE BOOK or in person at Regent Tailoring, Fisherton Mill and The Rocketship bookshop. 50% of profits go to Alabaré and 50% to a community fund.
Are you Yellow Hat?
One of the mysteries arising from the artwork is the person in the yellow hat who features on the cover of the book “thoughts, words & dreams”. As an influential figure in the formation of the exhibition and the framing of the book, the team are eager to learn about this story. Keep an eye out for future plans and workshops with Scrace Architects and Alabaré this autumn.
